Decision techniques & waste management

What did you organize, when, where and for how many people?
I held a Decision techniques course at the Corvinus University in Budapest. Within the framework of the class I connected students and civil society organizations working on waste management issues. We were working together through the semester on a project raising awerness on our irresponsible waste management (and creation) habits.

What were the main goals and objectives of the activity?
To raise awerness about environmental issues, to let students meet with practisoners, to engage with sustainability as a fundamental concept. Also, to learn cooperative skills, capabilities.

What were the main outcomes and results of the activity?
There was learning on all sides. Students received first hand, on the field knowledge regarding Budapest's waste situation, the CSO gained a window to our university, and me as a facilitator learned about what helps and what helps less when organizing such synergies.

Are there any other relevant aspects related to the activity, a conclusion or future plan?
To invite more CSO within our class.
