Communication working group - Gyüttment (Newcomers) Festival

What did you organize, when, where and for how many people?

I guided the communication team of the Gyüttment (Newcomers) Festival. The communication tasks started in March 2018, until the end of the festival until August 26, 2018. The group consisted of 15 people. The group worked online together and at the festival site in Zebegény, Hungary.

What were the main goals and objectives of the activity?

The main task of the communication working group was to carry out the Festival's press, public relations, public service, marketing and external communication. The main goal is to reach the right number of visitors and to inform the festival visitors about the programs and prepare them, especially with regard to the Festival's zero waste nature.

What were the main outcomes and results of the activity?

The main achievements of the workgroup are record numbers of visitors, a much streamlined flow of information compared to last year, good public relations, early and informative presentation of programs. Communication was a part of the successful festival.

Are there any other relevant aspects related to the activity, a conclusion or future plan?

Now I reorganize the communication workgroup and expand the activity with fundraising. In addition, the working group will support the further activities of the Association (Mindenegyüttmegy Egyesület) and its community businesses. My further plans include sharing the potential free capacity of the working group with other organisations.
