Plants and their uses - an activity in the surroundings of the Cabañeros National Park

What you organized, when, where and for how many people?
It was an activity at the local level, in the surroundings of the Cabañeros National Park, specifically in Navas de Estena (Ciudad Real, Spain) to know the plants and their uses. The activity was designed for a group of between five and ten people. I have the help of a friend (Silvia) superior technician in forest management and the natural environment, who knows very well the environment where the activity was carried out.

What were the main goals and objectives of the activity?
The objective was to know which plants are in this area, in addition to the uses that have been given to them over time.

What were the main outcomes and results of the activity?
The activity came out as expected: here was recognition of various plants, both shrubs and trees. Silvia gave us its common and scientific name, and among all the attendees we talked about the uses that have been given to them in the town for years, and that today they are losing.

Are there any other relevant aspects related to the activity, a conclusion or future plan?
I would like to repeat the activity with more people, because that way it is easier to know more different uses of the different plants.
